Fr David Elias

Manager

I’m the director and the principle at St. Mary School. I have been with the school from the very first day and even during the period of the establishment. I believe that St. Mary School offers more than quality education; we offer a service for the families and their children by representing a lively Christian life through a Christian center education. I personally attend to each family myself to make sure that they receiving the full attention from the school. As a principal I make sure that we hire the best teachers and that our teachers are providing the best education for our students. Because we are a private Christian school, we get to choose our curriculum and I personally participate in this process. I want also to assure you that we keep a very safe environment for our students and we are daily improving our school. We always pray for the families and the children and we do everything we can to help grow in the Lord.

I have my bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and a multiple subject teaching credential. My love for children is what made me choose to become a teacher. Ms. Maral

          Elementary Teacher

My name is Maral. I have a Bachelor’s degree and currently studying for a Masters of Arts in Teaching and a Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential. I have two daughters and truly enjoy working with children because they have such a wonderful sense of curiosity.I believe the role of an effective teacher is greater than simply presenting information to a passive group of students. I believe that it is the teacher’s responsibility to plant seeds of curiosity in students’ minds and give them the tools to water those seeds. Every year, I want to see each of my students develop a true desire to actively seek knowledge. Therefore, in my classroom, lessons are geared toward higher critical thinking skills and the children are taught to think “outside the box.” I make every effort to create stimulating hands-on activities, where my students have the opportunity to manipulate objects, interact with one another and to work cooperatively.
